 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim là tựa game hành động, nhập vai thế giới mở cực kỳ hấp dẫn. Đây cũng chính là phiên bản thứ 5 của dòng game The Elder Scrolls. Đến với trò chơi, người chơi sẽ nhập vai trở thành một chiến binh Dovahkiin vô danh, trên hành trình chiến đấu để tiêu diệt ác long Alduin, vốn là là thứ được tiên đoán sẽ huỷ diệt cả thế giới trong tương lai. Gameplay ấn tượng cùng chất lượng đồ hoạ lẫn âm thanh đỉnh cao, đã giúp trò chơi nhận được giải Game of the year 2011. Đương nhiên game thế giới mở thì player vẫn có thể chọn giới tính và trong game player có thể lấy vợ/chồng tùy theo bản thân muốn (team mê em Serana nhưng bị cho em vào diện friendzone) Dòng Elder Scrolls rất đáng chơi, từ TES 2: Daggerfall, TES 3: Morrowind, TES 4: Oblivion, tuy rằng những bản này không có love line. The game is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion and takes place in Skyrim, the northernmost province of Tamriel, a continent on the planet Nirn. Its main story focuses on the player's character, the Dragonborn, on their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.
